The Sustainable Project Management in Construction course prepares professionals to earn the globally recognized Green Project Management Certified Green Project Manager–b (GPM-b) credential. The course blends core project management fundamentals with sustainability principles, including the P5 Standard, PRiSM methodology, lifecycle thinking, and development of a Sustainability Management Plan. Through interactive workshops, construction case studies, and exam preparation, participants gain practical skills to integrate environmental, social, and economic considerations into projects.

Learning outcomes:

The GPM Sustainable Project Management course educates and trains learners to consider and budget for sustainable risks across 49 different elements such as employment and staffing, equal opportunity, green claims and greenwashing, energy consumption, GHG emissions, clean energy use and return, soil erosion and regeneration, local economic impact and ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting. The course integrates the P5 Standard, the P5 Impacts analysis, the Sustainability Management Plan and other reporting templates into the course and are given to learners for their use on the job. These templates enable organizations to capture all of the relevant carbon emissions data necessary for their ESG reporting and disclosure.
