Training Description

Designed to equip current manufacturing employees and job-seekers looking to upskill with the ability to source manufacturing data, how to work with it and to ultimately create reports for improved operational efficiency in manufacturing organizations.

Language

The microcredential teaches learners to understand the types of data systems and  technologies in the manufacturing workplace. By understanding different types of  common systems, learners can find the data they are searching to inform decisions.  Once data is acquired, best practices regarding data visualization are taught and  practiced, ultimately using Microsoft Power BI. The focus of the training is  awareness of current and emerging technologies that will improve manufacturing  processes and associated work. This awareness will promote new ways of working  and a more efficient, sustainable manufacturing sector.  

The skills developed in this microcredential will enable business analysis and decision making for improvements for manufacturers in efficiency, cost reduction, sustainability and process improvement towards operating leaner and greener.
