Yes, learners can enroll in offerings held in provinces different from their own. For in-person training, attendance at all in-person components is required for successful completion. Online offerings can be completed from anywhere in Canada. If a desired training is unavailable in your province, consider looking at other institutions that may have similar offerings in your field of interest. Quick Train Canada encourages learners to review the enrollment details for the institution they are applying to before registering. Learners are subject to the course withdrawal policies of the institution providing the training. Deadlines, fees, and how a withdrawal may be reflected on your transcript can be found on the institution’s website.

Quick Train Canada previously offered fully funded training to registrants as part of the Government of Canada’s Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program from February 2023 to March 31, 2024. However, this funding period has now ended, and the training available during this time is no longer open for registration.

You are eligible for a T2202 tuition tax credit if you took a course at a Canadian institution that meets the following criteria:

  • The course was at a post-secondary institution.
  • For individuals 16 or older at the end of the year, the course was for developing or improving occupational skills, and the institution is certified by the Minister of Employment and Social Development Canada.

To qualify, the fees you paid to each educational institution must be more than $100.
